Position Objective
The Program Director of Perioperative Services reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services. This leadership role oversees Operating Rooms, Cystoscopy, Post Anaesthetic Recovery, Pre-operative Care, and Surgical Day Care. The Program Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant patient care aligned with organizational goals. Collaborating with the Chief/Physician Director, the role involves setting strategic direction and integrating best practices across the perioperative program.
Career Experience and Core Competencies
* Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
* Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
* Member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO)
* Clinical experience in acute care settings
* Minimum of five years management experience with a medical dyad partner
* Experience in business planning, resource management, program development, evaluation, and patient care services management
