Experteer Overview In this role you contribute to AI-native capabilities within PostgreSQL and extend PostgreSQL to support AI workloads. You work closely with a cross-functional team focused on cloud-native database features, aiming to deliver performant, reliable engine-level integrations. You’ll write production code in system languages and help shape the future of data-first applications. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow as a database and systems engineer while impacting scale and research-driven improvements.Compensaciones / Incentivos• Contribute to design and implementation of AI-native PostgreSQL capabilities (vector indexing, semantic and full-text search, hybrid search, graph queries)• Implement and enhance PostgreSQL extensions and engine-level integrations• Write high-quality code in C, C++, or Rust with emphasis on performance and correctness• Participate in design discussions and code reviews to learn PostgreSQL internals and systems design• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers to translate requirements into working systems• Assist with performance analysis, debugging, and tuning in development and production environments• Learn and apply best practices for building reliable, observable cloud database services• Stay curious about trends in databases, search systems, and AI-enabled data platforms• Embody culture and valuesResponsabilidades• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and experience with C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python• Proficiency in at least one systems programming language (C, C++, or Rust)• Experience building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software in a collaborative environment• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems fundamentals• Experience with backend systems, infrastructure, or performance-sensitive componentsRequisitos principales•
