Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Scheduling
o Collaborate with Global Supply Managers and Order Management to develop detailed planning scenarios.
o Create production schedules using optimization algorithms, considering operational constraints.
o Maintain plan status and sales order accuracy within the system.
o Plan strategic raw materials and manage the purchase order process, including call‑offs.
o Maintain agreed safety stocks and allocate them to regional needs.
o Determine economic value parameters (EVPs) from planned utilizations.
* Inventory Management & Monitoring
o Monitor inventory levels (stock, WIP, GIT) and trigger corrective actions.
o Adjust short‑term production and purchase plans, including capacity utilization and call‑offs.
o Optimize inventory to ensure material availability per forecasts, orders, and production plans.
* Coordination & Communication
o Lead the Sales & Operations Execution (SOE) process for assigned supply chains.
o Coordinate components and resources to enable lean production.
o Communicate production plans and lead times to stakeholders, including Global Supply Managers.
o Alert stakeholders about capacity limitations based on production feedback.
o Display long‑term production planning in the planning system.
* Reporting & Analysis
o Provide planning input to S&OP tactical and strategic processes.
o Report and analyze production lead times and delivery reliability of strategic raw materials.
o Report and analyze planning scenarios.
* Continuous Improvement & Excellence
o Implement improvement measures with Global Supply Managers.
o Participate in developing new planning systems and logistics processes.
o Foster a high‑performance culture and promote Clariant Excellence values.
Qualifications
* Industrial, Process or Supply Chain Engineering degree.
* 5+ years experience in production planning or supply chain.
* Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Planning Systems (APO, Kinaxis).
* Experience with linear optimization algorithms and financial calculations (CP1, EVP, inventory carrying costs).
* Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
* Advanced English communication skills.
* Beneficial certifications:
o Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
o Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
o Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
o Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
