You are joining Eleven VMS at a pivotal moment. We are accelerating our strategic repositioning around an extensible, scalable, partner ecosystem-oriented product — built to meet the demands of the world's largest enterprises across complex, international deployments.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you take full ownership of the Product & Engineering scope. You lead a team of 20 to 25 people organized in squads, drive roadmap execution, and ensure alignment with business strategy and the expectations of our enterprise clients.
Your responsibilities
* Define and own the product strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with the CEO and commercial teams, making prioritization calls under resource constraints.
* Drive technical architecture decisions (build/buy/partner) and ensure platform scalability and performance across global, multi-entity deployment contexts.
* Plan and execute the migration from a legacy product toward a modular, extensible architecture — at pace, in a structured and sustainable way for both teams and clients.
* Lead integrations with key market solutions (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and build out the API layer as a competitive differentiator.
* Structure and grow Product & Engineering teams in a squad model, with empowered middle managers operating in a lean organization — clear objectives, regular feedback, continuous upskilling.
* Embed AI-native development practices: tooling, workflows, and team culture built around daily AI augmentation.
* Build effective collaboration with Professional Services and Support teams — cross-functional coordination, not top-down reporting.
* Drive migration to a cloud-native, multi-tenant architecture and adoption of advanced CI/CD practices.
* Ensure platform security and compliance in demanding enterprise environments (ISO 27001, SOC2, SSO/SAML, e-invoicing).
* Represent Eleven VMS with enterprise clients, integration partners, and prospects, embodying the product vision and technical credibility of the company.
Your profile
* 10 to 15 years of experience in product or engineering leadership roles in a B2B SaaS enterprise or mid-market environment, including at least 5 years managing squad-based teams.
* Background in one of the following areas: procurement tech (S2P, sourcing, CLM, P2P), HR tech / talent management, spend management / B2B FinTech, or ERP / finance with a strong connectors dimension.
* Strong command of long sales cycles, configurability vs. customization tradeoffs, and the constraints of global enterprise deployments.
* Proven experience making build/buy/partner decisions and managing complex third-party integrations.
* Recognized technical leadership — able to challenge architecture decisions without being in the code day-to-day.
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity, structuring interfaces between Product, Engineering, PS, and Support, and making fast decisions with incomplete information.
* Having navigated a Series B raise or a post-Series A scaling phase is a genuine plus.
* Fluent in French and English; comfortable in international and client-facing contexts.
* Preferably based in Barcelona; Madrid or Valencia also considered.
