The Amazon Cross Border Core Technology team is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to drive the development of innovative technologies that will shape platforms and products impacting a multibillion‑dollar business and enhancing the global customer experience. Our team is focused on building next‑generation services that will transform international trade at Amazon and revolutionize how shoppers worldwide discover and purchase global products. We’re developing new services in areas like Customer Returns, Accounting, Customer Service, and Mobile App to enhance the international shopping experience, aiming to offer a seamless, one‑stop shopping experience for international customers.
Key responsibilities include:

* Building products (mobile and web based) that reach millions of new customers globally, delivering a world‑class shopping experience with localized language, payment options, and currencies.
* Designing API‑based services in NAWS that enable scalable platforms for both internal and external partners.
* Advancing customer experience technologies to support shoppers worldwide.
* Innovating strategies for global expansion and developing solutions that sustain the continued rapid growth of this thriving business.

You’ll design solutions that reach millions of new customers globally, addressing complex problems with a holistic approach, and collaborate closely with the business to define expansion strategies and develop innovative solutions. You’ll work in environments demanding intricate feedback loops and the development of robust ecosystems, employing creative and thoughtful solutions to real‑world challenges.
About the team: We enable customers around the globe to purchase products on Amazon with guaranteed shipping and import duty fees. We improve this experience by making selection available across all Amazon marketplaces, allowing customers to search and browse in their preferred language and currency. We tackle seemingly impossible problems, debate solutions, and make tough decisions with clear rationale, working together as a dream team.
Basic Qualifications

* 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
* 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
* 3+ years of Video Games Industry experience (supporting title development, release, or live ops)
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
*
* 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
