Amazon Reimbursements and FBA Cost Optimisation Manager
We are supporting a well established, high growth ecommerce brand with a significant Amazon footprint to hire an Amazon Reimbursements and FBA Cost Optimisation Manager.
Our client operates at meaningful scale on Amazon with a large FBA inventory position, high monthly order volume, and complex international fulfilment flows. Amazon is a core revenue channel and there is real opportunity to drive material profit improvement through tighter reimbursement management and cost control.
This is a specialist role with a clear commercial mandate. Protect margin, recover lost revenue, and systematically reduce Amazon related cost leakage across a scaled operation.
The role
You will own the end to end Amazon FBA reimbursement process for lost, damaged, and miscounted inventory across a high volume catalogue. This includes identifying opportunities, submitting and tracking claims, escalating complex cases, and pushing issues through to resolution.
You will audit FBA fees to identify incorrect charges and overbilling, ensuring all recoverable costs are actioned. You will actively manage and optimise participation in Amazon programmes such as SIPP, Manage Your Sourcing Costs, and other relevant cost reduction initiatives.
You will build and maintain clear reporting to track reimbursements, fee accuracy, and margin impact. You will partner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to resolve root causes and implement preventative improvements. Beyond recovery, you will focus on building processes that reduce future losses.
What we are looking for
You have proven experience managing Amazon FBA reimbursements at scale within a high volume seller environment. You have a strong understanding of Amazon FBA fees, policies, and reimbursement workflows and know how to work Amazon cases effectively.
You are highly analytical, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently. You take ownership, follow issues through relentlessly, and are confident escalating when required. You enjoy building repeatable systems rather than working reactively.
