We are looking for a
Head of Communications
to lead our global communication strategy, strengthen our international visibility, and build strong relationships with media, institutions, and the user community.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Lead NaviLens’ communication strategy to position the company as a global reference in
accessibility, smart mobility, and inclusive innovation, strengthening our public presence, institutional relationships, and engagement with user communities and organizations in the accessibility sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement the global communication strategy aligned with NaviLens’ mission and objectives.
Ensure consistency and clarity of messaging across all channels and markets.
Position NaviLens as a leader in accessibility, inclusive technology, and smart cities.
Media Relations & Public Visibility
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry publications.
Manage press releases, interviews, articles, and media coverage.
Monitor and manage the company’s reputation and public narrative.
Storytelling & Content
Create compelling narratives around NaviLens’ technology, impact, and global projects.
Develop case studies, user stories, and content that communicate the value of our technology.
Support leadership with presentations, speeches, and public communication materials.
Community Relations
Manage and strengthen relationships with
associations of people with visual impairments, accessibility organizations, and user communities .
Foster dialogue, collaboration, and feedback with the accessibility community.
Represent NaviLens in forums, meetings, and initiatives related to accessibility and inclusion.
Institutional Communications
Support communication with public institutions, strategic partners, and international organizations.
Develop materials for institutional projects and major deployments.
Events & Thought Leadership
Coordinate NaviLens’ participation in accessibility conferences, smart mobility forums, and technology events.
Support the preparation of speaking engagements and panel participation.
Internal Communication
Support internal communication initiatives to keep teams aligned with the company’s mission, strategy, and key milestones.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience
5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic communications.
Experience working with international media and managing public visibility.
Experience in technology, mobility, accessibility, or innovation sectors is highly valued.
Skills
Excellent writing and storytelling abilities.
Ability to translate complex technological concepts into clear and engaging messages.
Strong relationship-building skills with media, institutions, and communities.
Fluency in
Spanish and English ; additional languages are a plus.
