What does a Marine Electronics Engineer & Surveyor do?A Marine Electronics Engineer and Surveyor with proven performance and multi-brand experience onboard IMO vessels. Key functions include :
Providing service activities in the Algeciras area and southern Spain as the focus region.Performing service activities across Spain as needed.Carrying out services in other parts of the world on occasion.Executing installation, commissioning, and sea trials of marine electronics equipment for clients such as Alphatron Marine Iberia, Alphatron Marine, Japan Radio Co., and other international customers.Supporting other service department tasks :
coordination, spare parts quotations, warranties, etc., as directed by the Service / Technical Manager & Training.Communicating with AMIB coordinators, agents, manufacturers, and service partners when required.Attending manufacturer training sessions as needed.Supporting equipment installation at exhibitions in Spain.Reporting to the Service / Technical Manager & Training.Being a GOC-approved Marine Electronics Engineer and Surveyor.Working autonomously and efficiently in all service-related tasks.Focusing on productivity, net profit, quality, and first-time fix (FTF) metrics, with evaluations based on these parameters.Providing services to both international and national customers, adapting to each group's specifics.Prioritizing customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.Demonstrating social skills when interacting with crew, owner representatives, agents, superintendents, manufacturers, and staff.Strictly adhering to IMO and Class requirements, as well as internal procedures and practices.In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate :
