MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its Property Management staff supporting our local office activities in Barcelona as well as other European subsidiaries. The Facilities, Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor position supports the Director of Property Management to oversee the planning and execution of corporate real estate projects, related building operations and compliance with environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions :
* Oversee the planning and execution of corporate real estate projects and related building operations.
* Responsible for the upkeep and safety of company’s buildings, grounds, and equipment.
* Leads collaborative environmental, health and safety projects across EU operations sites.
* Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures, conduct site inspections, and provide training and guidance to employees.
* Evaluate project drawings, schedules, submittals, and RFI’s to help identify & resolve potential project risks.
* Perform reviews of contractor / vendor proposals and associated bid leveling exercises.
* Facilitate the creation of purchase orders, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, and submitting invoices for processing.
* Review project change orders for budget, schedule and quality impacts.
* Negotiate contracts with service providers and manage contracts with vendors.
* Provides guidance on environment, health & safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
* Ensures compliance with environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements.
* Ensures emergency response plans are in place and aligned with local regulatory and corporate requirements.
* Participates in strategic planning to drive environmental sustainability projects.
* Maintains reporting for our ESG program. (+ LEED)
* Attends inspections or audits government agencies, municipality government, etc.
* Supervises facility set up and maintenance coordinating with service providers, tracking agreements (AC / heating / fire extinguishing system, electrical installations etc.).
* Support for ad hoc projects as assigned.

* Software Experience : Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Dropbox, etc.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Management, or related field.
* Ability to interpret project schedules, budgets and step-by-step action plans.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS or Facilities Supervision.
* Advance knowledge of Excel, PM software, etc.
* Fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English (C1) (other EU language is a +).
