WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:
* Perform mandatory engineering and operational tasks related to backup platforms.
* Administer and support High Availability backup environments, ensuring reliability and performance.
* Resolve critical and escalated incidents, acting as an expert-level support when required.
* Carry out proactive tasks to prevent incidents and improve system resilience.
* Prepare and maintain mandatory technical procedures, documentation, and reports.
* Execute backup platform migrations and upgrades, following best practices.
* Deploy and support new infrastructure components as part of ongoing projects.
* Participate in automation initiatives to optimize backup and operational processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure backup solutions meet business and technical requirements.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Must-Have Requirements
* Solid hands-on experience with Cohesity backup solutions.
* Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
* Proven experience managing High Availability backup platforms.
* Experience resolving critical and escalated incidents in production environments.
* Knowledge of Oracle backups using RMAN for backup and restore operations.
* Backup Agent knowledge (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, SAP and DB2)
* Experience with backup platform migrations and upgrades.
* Knowledge of shell and/or batch scripting.
Nice to Have
* Experience with automation tasks related to backup or infrastructure operations.
* Exposure to infrastructure deployment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Storage knowledge (NetApp, Isilon, StorageGrid and Pure)
