Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experiencedIT / OT Support Engineer to join a leading company in the logistics and industrial sector, responsible for maintaining and monitoring terminal IT health checks and supporting both IT and OT infrastructure.
This is a100% onsite role based in Barcelona, requiring a technically skilled professional who can work independently, handle incident andservice management (L1 & L2),and contribute to the stability and security of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
 * Provide end-user support for hardware and software including Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
 * Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to local IT infrastructure such as datacenter racks, cabling, servers, storage, and network equipment.
 * Support and maintain OT infrastructure assets, including CCTV, radio communications, biometric readers, OCR equipment, and vehicle-mounted terminals.
 * Manage service requests and incident tickets, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
 * Participate in technical projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
 * Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
 * Contribute to the IT / OT knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting guides and solutions.
 * Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities.
 * Support and monitor datacenter operations, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
 * Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver effective onsite IT / OT support.
Technical Requirements
 * Degree in IT Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
 * Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT / OT support roles.
 * Strong knowledge of VMware and / or Cisco networking technologies, beyond basic monitoring.
 * ITIL knowledge or certification is highly desirable.
 * Proven experience in incident management, routine IT service maintenance, and technical support.
 * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
 * Ability to work independently and deliver results in a critical onsite environment.
