AtBasqueCulinaryCenter (BCC)andGastronomyOpenEcosystem(GOe),wearelookingf orprofessionalsfromthegastronomicfieldand/orthenutritionandhealthsector tojoinatalentpoolaimedatcovering occasionalteachingneedsacrossourdifferentlocations.
Weareseekingprofilessuchas chefscapableofdeliveringcoursesfornon-professionalaudiences, chefswithknowledgeofhealthyeating, aswellasnutritionistsorotherhealthprofessionalswithanaffinityforcooking.Itisnotessentialforallcompetenciestobeheldbyasingleperson.
Yourmission istodesign,develop, anddelivercourses,classes, andpracticalworkshopsoncookingandnutrition,aimedat diverseaudiences(bothadultsandchildren), ineducational,outreach, andexperientialcontexts.
Yourday-to-dayresponsibilitieswillinclude:
Organisingandplanningthedevelopmentofclassesand workshops incollaborationwiththecookingandnutritionareacoordinator.
Deliveringcoursesand workshopsrelatedtohealthyeating,cookingadaptedtodifferentnutritionalneeds, andhealthylifestylehabits.
Addressingandresolvingparticipants’questionsfromaculinaryand/ornutritionalperspective,dependingonyourprofessionalprofile.
Contributingtothecreationofahigh-qualitylearningexperiencealignedwiththevaluesofBCC andGOe.
Requirements
Doyouidentifywithanyofthefollowingcharacteristics?
Professionalexperienceingastronomy(cooking,hospitality,culinarytraining) and/orinnutrition,dietetics,orhealth-relatedfields.
Experiencedeliveringtraining (formalornon-formal).
Solidknowledgeofhealthycooking,adaptedculinarytechniques,orthefundamentalsofnutritionandhealth.
Strongsocialskillsandtheabilitytoconnectwithbothadultandchildaudiences.
Proficiencyin officetools.
Availabilityforoccasionalcollaborationaccordingtoprojectneeds.
Youwillstandoutifyou:
Holdahighereducationor Bachelor´s Degreein HumanNutritionandDietetics,Gastronomy,HealthSciences,orrelatedfields.
Haveknowledgeofspecialdiets,adaptedcooking,healthycookingtechniques,orspecificproducts.
HaveahighlevelofBasqueand English (C1).
Standoutforyourorganisationalandplanningskills.
