At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a integral team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become Scopely’s largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.
What You Will Do
This role focuses on building and maintaining the web tools and interfaces that enable creative, operational, and live service excellence, with particular ownership of our Admin Panel, the central hub used daily by LiveOps, QA, and production teams to manage the game’s live features and configurations.
You’ll work closely with UX/UI design, backend, and product stakeholders to deliver intuitive, performant, and reliable web experiences. As the team’s frontend specialist, you’ll help set standards for UI implementation, guide peers, and drive development forward even when backend APIs are not yet ready by defining mock data, contracts, and prototypes to keep progress unblocked.
- Own, maintain, and evolve our internal web admin platform, core interface of the game, improving its usability, performance, and maintainability
- Design, build, and deliver web-based tools that support the daily work of LiveOps and QA teams
- Implement responsive UX/UI based on wireframes and user flows provided by the UX/UI designer
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define and optimize API contracts, and create API prototype mocks when needed to streamline frontend development
- Contribute to clean architecture, code quality, and scalable frontend patterns
- Help educate and mentor the team in frontend technologies and best practices
- Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and cross-functional planning
- Support debugging, performance tuning, and deployment of web applications in live environments
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in modern web development using Angular, React, or similar frameworks
- Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive UI design
- Strong understanding of UX/UI implementation principles, with attention to detail and usability
- Ability to work autonomously and build functional prototypes or interfaces without finalized backend APIs
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with designers, backend engineers, and non-technical stakeholders
- Good understanding of frontend performance, maintainability, and testing practices
- Passion for building internal tools that empower creators and improve production workflows
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with Blazor or interest in supporting its future adoption
- Experience maintaining live platforms for games or content-driven systems
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, authentication, and role-based access control (RBAC) in web apps
- Background in design systems or shared component libraries
- Exposure to data visualization or configuration-driven interfaces
- Knowledge in C#
