Job Summary
Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or loads them into dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
* Washes pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures.
* Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
* Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
* Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
* Keeps the dish area clean and safe.
* Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
* Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
* Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
* Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
* Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
