Responsibilities
In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution, guiding teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews and anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in‐house capability building. You will shape value‐adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet changing global landscape needs.
Skills / Competencies
SAP Finance/Controlling experience with minimum 2 full cycle S/4HANA implementations, preferably in life sciences.
Lead design workshops for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI, CO, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis & Project Systems).
Map life sciences business processes into SAP while ensuring alignment with GxP, SOX compliance needs.
Deep expertise in Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New GL, Asset Accounting, Material Ledger & Actual Costing, Transfer Pricing (multiple valuation), Margin Analysis (CO PA), Intercompany processes, Tax & Statutory (multi-GAAP), Foreign currency, parallel ledgers/valuation.
Configure and deploy core S/4HANA Finance functionalities including: Product Costing (Std/Actual); Profit Center & Cost Center Accounting; Margin Analysis / CO PA (S/4HANA); Project Systems.
Support integration with SAP Manufacturing (PP, PM), SAP EWM, SAP QM (Quality Management), SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).
Preferred
Experience in Life science domain.
SAP S/4 EWM technical know‐how – high level and roadmap knowledge.
Previous experience in Pharmaceutical vertical.
Multilingual proficiency (English is mandatory).
SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification.
SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting Certification.
Additional Skills
Strong documentation skills: BBP, Functional Design Documents, SOPs, Training Material.
Analytical and problem‐solving mindset with structured defect and issue management.
Presales and consulting mindset: client advisory, value articulation, roadmap definition.
Familiarity with delivery tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA/ALM, ChaRM.
Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, global delivery models.
