Polymer Support Specialist – Customer & Technical Solutions

Are you passionate about polymers and innovation? Do you enjoy working closely with customers, providing expert advice, and supporting product development? Join Tolsa as a Polymer Support Specialist – Customer & Technical Solutions and be the key technical partner helping customers achieve their goals with our advanced additive solutions.

As a Polymer Support Specialist, you will deliver high-quality technical assistance and advice to our customers worldwide. You will manage trials, coordinate lab and plant testing, and collaborate across departments to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction. This role requires a customer-focused professional comfortable with frequent international travel (up to 50%) to visit clients and strengthen technical partnerships.

* Manage and prioritize customer technical support requests efficiently.
* Coordinate lab methodologies, pilot plant tests, and plant trials to validate improvements in customer formulations.
* Identify and collaborate with contract manufacturers and external technical centers as needed.
* Develop policies and procedures to ensure service excellence.
* Prepare detailed technical reports and progress updates for management.
* Maintain accurate project data, formulations, and specifications.
* Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Purchasing, and Finance teams.
* Provide internal technical support and training to sales and distributor teams.
* Travel internationally (up to 50%) to visit customers, present products, and build strong technical relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

* Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field. MSc or PhD preferred but not mandatory.
* Customer contact or polymer science experience is a plus but not required.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory). Other languages are a plus.
* Analytical and proactive problem-solving mindset.
* Team player comfortable with international travel.
