Mission
As a member of Iberia's Technical Team of Execution (iHUB department), the Technical Project Leader is responsible for managing a team of Customer Project Technical Senior Technicians and Engineers, overseeing the design and implementation of all technical aspects of integrated customer projects, and ensuring technical risks are managed and stakeholders are aligned. The role also includes leading technical operational activities and securing final customer approval of the technical solution in Digital Energy, Automation and Control.

Experience
Experience required in Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs), Building Management Systems software, Electrical Control Cabinets, Programming Languages, design, validation, and commissioning.
Main responsibilities of the position
Define and specify technical solutions based on customer requirements during the offer phase.
Validate technical decisions and solutions during the quoting phase and throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring final solution compliance with Schneider Electric standards.
Review technical documentation to optimize solutions and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Directly manage technical teams, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning (internal or external), acting as Site Manager when required.
Provide regular technical reporting to the Project Manager and relevant project stakeholders.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to define and validate the best technical solution before submitting offers.
Implement and share critical applications from the "Product Information" platform to update the Iberian Hub (iHUB) with Automation and Control solutions.
Act as the main technical point of contact for subcontractors during project execution, including validation of assembly work.
Manage technical relationships with stakeholders, proactively communicating and ensuring compliance with specifications and solutions.
Participate in project follow‐up meetings with various stakeholders to manage the project plan, on‐site teams, and resources in line with customer expectations.
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with products and systems in Digital Energy, Automation, and Control.
Extensive knowledge and hands‐on experience with automation and control equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, computers, relays, and related hardware.
Strong expertise in automation and control software, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, SQL, VBA, and more.
Familiarity with Schneider Electric PLCs and their programming languages (Modicon M580, M340, M221, M241, M251).
Experience with Schneider Electric and AVEVA software platforms, such as:
EcoStruxureTM Building Operation (EBO)
EcoStruxureTM Power Operation (EPO)
AVEVATM System Platform (SP)
EcoStruxureTM Power Monitoring Expert (PME)
EcoStruxureTM Control Expert (Unity Pro)
EcoStruxureTM Machine Expert (SoMachine)
Knowledge of industrial communication equipment and protocols (Modbus, Profibus, BacNet, LonBus, IEC61850, etc.).
Understanding of cybersecurity standards and network design.
Experience designing electrical control cabinets.
Proven ability to coordinate internal and external teams across all project phases (design, development, FAT, SAT, commissioning).
On‐site team leadership experience, including roles as Site Manager.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel with VBA), MS Project, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and SEE Electrical.
Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese; proficiency in English.
Willingness to travel within the Iberian region 30–40% of the time, and open to international travel.
