We are looking for a Commercial Operations Specialist to join our Trading and Operations department in our Business Unit based in Bilbao, Spain.
How you make the difference
The position will be to ensure the smooth, accurate execution of all operational processes that support trading activities and contributes to efficient trade execution, improved performance, and the overall reliability of the trading operation.
How your agenda looks like:
* Assist with the COP/COS issuance and circulation process based on the information received by the trader
* Manage the documentation flow in coordination with other TMI offices involved where applicable
* Expedite orders through interaction with both internal and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, forwarding agents, shipping lines, warehouses)
* Ensure a timely and accurate information flow among different parties involved in each transaction
* Update internal databases and worksheets related to the trading activities
* Communicate to the relevant trader anomalies or matters that require specific attention or further negotiation
* Assist with outturn report, preliminary/final settlements and commercial analysis (where applicable)
* Update freight and other logistic costs, in coordination with other TMI offices, liaising with logistic service providers and forwarding agents (where applicable)
* Monitor shipping/delivery schedules and other relevant deadlines and report anomalies to the trader
* Liaise with Technical Services Team to exchange information related to quality claims.
* Assist the Trader with proactive approach on any other operational aspects as requested.
* Issue shipping instructions and/or manage container bookings (where applicable).

You will report directly to our Commercial Operations Manager.
What makes you a great fit:
* Education: University degree in Business Administration or similar
* Work Experience: Minimum of 3 o 5 years of professional experience,ination of roles in experience in comercial/administrative roles.
* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and to have knowledge of an ERP (Dynamics, SAP, etc.).
* Language: Proficiency in Spanish and very high level of English, both spoken and written.
