LME is a leader working in collaboration with Spanish industry and government spanning Aeronautics, Maritime, Surveillance, Defense and Civil IT domains.- This role will support the test team for the newest Armada ship class, the F-110. This position will be responsible for ensuring the availability and operation of the SPY-7 MMSP through the set to work test program and sea trials. This position will be principally located at the Navantia shipyard facilities in Ferrol, Spain. Occasional travel and shipboard riding underway should be considered part of the position requirements.- The principal responsibilities of this position are to ensure the availability and operation of the SPY-7 MMSP equipment suites including the configuration and computer program operation and that the MMSP Technician interfaces with other SPY-7 System Technician elements.- Ensure SPY-7 radiation safety processes are current and are being followed within acceptable operating limits.- Manage SPY-7 MMSP equipment suites, including setup of configurations, equipment interfaces, and data extraction requirements.- Identify and resolve SPY-7 MMSP equipment and computer program issues- Conduct testing, analyze test results, and report findings, as necessary for functional testing involving SPY7 MMSP- Perform data collection and analysis for problem isolation and resolution and ensure discrepancies are documented and statused using the FMS TOR and TFR processes.- Document test procedure discrepancies using the FMS TCP/TPR process for future test procedure revision.- Provide SPY-7 MMSP status reports to the SPY-7 Systems Engineering Lead as directed.- Support the request, installation, and validation of SPY-7 adaptation data as required.- Coordinate with Combat Systems Alignment Engineers to prepare for and conduct SPY-7 collimation, Mechanical Battery Alignment, and Combat MMSP Alignment Verification testing.- Coordinate with alliance personnel and Combat Systems Alignment Engineers to prepare for and conduct Combat MMSP Tracking Test events.**Required skills, qualifications and experience**- '- Hold an engineering or technical degree from an accredited college or university- Must be able to work in a shipyard environment with US and foreign government agencies and other US and foreign contractors with minimum supervision.- Must have experience in the preparation and delivery of effective oral presentations to management and customer personnel.- Prior Armada experience preferred**Job Reference Number**- 13161BR**Employee Type**- Full Time**Hours Per Week**- 40**Working Schedule**- Standard Hours**Country**- Spain**Clearance Required for Role**- NATO**Graduate, Intern or Apprentice Vacancy?**- No**Business Environment**- Lockheed Martin is a dynamic, growing, and energetic organisation offering stimulating, challenging work at the forefront of technology with over 100,000 staff globally.
