In this role, you will build and maintain Java-based services within the Travel Things team to enhance our ancillaries retail platform. You’ll work in a cross-cultural, high-ambition environment, contributing to a scalable, AI-powered travel experience for millions of customers. You will collaborate with peers across disciplines to ship high-quality, data-driven features in a cloud-based setup. This is an opportunity to influence product direction and cloud-native engineering at a leading travel tech company.

• Develop and maintain Java services (Java 11/17) in a cloud-based, microservices-like environment
• Work with Big Data technologies (Kafka, Cassandra, BigTable, Redis, Neo4j) and AI-enabled data tooling

Responsabilidades
• Java 11/17 proficiency with OO programming; 4+ years experience
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and quality-focused delivery
• Fluent English to work in a multicultural environment
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and share knowledge xpzdshu
• Experience with cloud-based deployment and container technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with data technologies and ML/data-driven approaches is desirable
