Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a successful and international team of technically trained support engineers that's delivering day‑to‑day remote telephone support services for Agilent's Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers. Become part of Agilent CrossLab organization, a network of experts who help our customers improve laboratory performance and meet vital business needs.
Position Overview
Remote Support Engineer, a temporary position with a contract term of 1 year. The position follows a hybrid model where you will be based in one of our offices: either in Milan (Cernusco‑sul‑Naviglio, preferred) or in Barcelona, and you will partially work from home (2 days a week).
Responsibilities
* Identify customer issues and provide a high level of reactive and proactive technical services in support of Agilent's product portfolio.
* Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding, assisting, and training users on maintenance and configurations.
* Perform remote troubleshooting on hardware and software.
* Provide problem resolution to optimize efficiency and uptime availability of customer systems.
Qualifications
* University Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences based discipline.
* Hands‑on experience (internship, apprenticeship, university projects or first postgraduate experience…) with chromatography and spectrometry analytical techniques such as GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, HPLC, ICPMS, ICPOES….
* Full proficiency in English and Italian.
On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners. You show a real can‑do attitude and you like helping others and solving problems. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you also have strong planning and organizational skills.
