Job Purpose
Amcor’s aspiration is to be renowned as the Flexibles industry leader in Operational Excellence. The Operations Plus Program will drive significant and sustainable competitive advantage across the value chain to generate top and bottom line growth.
Principal Accountabilities
Drive of the Operations Plus transformation efforts with the sites chosen for the RTT/O+ journey
Diagnose plants and set aspirational improvement targets
Design and plan the plant transformations within the O+ team
Lead AFEMEA towards O+ maturity journey in a sustainable way
Be a BG trainer and coach for the IWS/O+ principles in line with the cell structure
Collaborate pro-actively with teams across the global Flexibles business to leverage best practice and drive a ‘One Amcor’ approach
Reducing variability amongst AFEMEA O+ sites through O+ RTT implementation
Subject Matter Expert for their respective Pillar or DMS
Acting as a back-up to the other central O+ Lead colleagues
Coach and promote the elimination of breakdown as well as performance and process related losses with the team
Perform health checks
Develop and roll out golden operational and organizational standard for a line configuration
Own and continuously improve operations Plus Standards (e.g CILs, CLs, CO, MP&S, ...)
Help to manage and develop and document the O+ tools, standards and best practices
Introduce and apply appropriate tools, methodologies and best practices as trained by EY or the O+ team members
Engage, in conjunction with the Performance Boost team, BU CI Leaders, Technical team, the site management teams, their teams and key stakeholders in the transformation effort
Communicate progress and celebrate success
Provide a platform to engage co-workers and contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement and front line empowerment
Mentor and support all co-workers in up-skilling
Ad hoc Support on projects in line with the plan
Be involved in initiatives to provide feedback as part of the design reviews and Readiness Assessment

Support a change agenda which is new, as part of a new team, the new ways of working, and which comes with high aspirations and expectations
Support moving the needle fast in an environment where ways of working are established and business performance is regarded as successful
Working aligned with the global Amcor team and apply ways of working and standards in AFEMEA
Qualifications / Requirements
Formal Qualifications and Experience
5 + years of experience in Operations, Operations Excellence, IWS or similar manufacturing systems
Experience on supporting significant change / transformation projects within manufacturing environment
Degree in a xpzdshu science, technology or engineering subject preferred; advanced degree advantageous.
