Job Overview
We are seeking a Market Development Specialist to lead the proactive business development of ABB/AEG DinRail and Enclosures up to 800A product portfolio expansion, including AC electrical vehicle chargers.
This role involves supporting sales initiatives aligned with the division’s strategy, designing and deploying a portfolio strategy, and facilitating activities to drive profitable business growth. As the voice of the Spanish market inside the global business line, you will play a crucial role in achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
This position contributes to the Product Marketing department in the Electrification Smart Building division in Spain, with main stakeholders including installers, panel builders, OEMs, electric wholesalers, Engineering, and End users.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting extensive research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitiveness by visiting customers regularly with the sales organization
* Supporting the process of defining marketing and sales targets and establishing metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance
* Ensuring profitable business growth focused on orders, revenues, margins, market shares, and customer satisfaction, evaluating portfolio performance, and adjusting marketing strategies
* Developing and executing marketing strategies to increase product awareness and sales along prioritized segments with the support of channel and segment managers
* Supporting product price positioning and stock levels aligned with local strategy
Qualifications
* Experience working with customer-centric methodologies and marketing foundations in the electrical market
* Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy
* Innovative communication, initiative leadership, and curiosity, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with a results-oriented approach
* Bachelor’s degree in Electricity or Electronics
* Fluent English communication skills
