Job Description:
Within the Transport Solutions department, you will guarantee the stability of the production systems by managing and implementing a number of releases (planning, quality control, communication):
* Organize and plan the releases and maintenance of the systems (release & maintenance slots)
* Define the content of the releases according to the priorities of the business and the resources available within the department
* Identify the risks, the impact (technical and business) and the interdependencies of all requests in collaboration with the release coordinators and/or team leaders.
* Inform the Change managers, the internal Customer and the other Release managers.
* Propose each release to the Change Advisory Board for approval, prior to implementation.
* Verify the existence of the ""deliverables"" during the release (test results, release installation procedure, risks and impact analysis, operational documentation, etc...)
* Ensuring communication during the key moments of the release (planning, procedure, implementation) within the IS department and with regard to the business
* Ensure the necessary adjustments of the 'Configuration Items' in the CMDB when necessary.
* Organize the lessons learned meetings after each major release and create recommendations for improvement as needed.
* Assist the Release Process Owner if necessary
* To ensure the follow-up of the good practices of the release management procedures within the department and to make all actors aware of their validity.

* Do you have ITIL 4 Foundation certification?
* Do you have any practical experience in the public transport sector? If so, please give details.
* Willing to work at least 3 full days per week on-site in the center of Brussels. Three minutes walking from Central station?
* Willing to work from time to time during the evening, night or during weekends for critical release deployments (max 5-10 per year)?
* Hybride working is possible but a fixed home working day is not a guarantee. Is that an issue?
