Mission of the role: As a Tender Specialist at Smilics, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of tender processes, from opportunity detection to proposal delivery. You will play a key role in aligning cross-functional teams (commercial, technical, legal and operations) to prepare solid, competitive bids for national and international clients in the energy and industrial technology sectors. Key responsabilities: Identify and monitor new public and private tender opportunities. Analyse the technical and economic viability of opportunities. Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Technical, Legal, Finance, Product) and external stakeholders involved in tender preparation. Prepare technical, administrative, and commercial documentation for tenders. Lead all phases of the bidding process: qualification, documentation, submission, clarifications, etc. Support Key Account Managers during the commercial proposal stage. Document case studies, use cases, and lessons learned post-tender. Continuously improve internal bidding processes with a collaborative approach. Strong written and verbal communication across technical and business stakeholders. Collaborative attitude and continuous improvement mindset. Required qualifications: Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in preparing national and international tenders. University degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in B2B environments with a technical-commercial focus. Advanced level of Spanish and/or Catalan. Advanced level of English (C1) – this will be the primary working language. Valuable assets: Experience in industrial, energy, technology or engineering sectors. Previous experience in energy companies, electrical distribution, or manufacturers of industrial solutions. Knowledge of other European languages (Italian, Portuguese, French). Familiarity with public procurement processes or internationally funded projects. Courses or formal training in tender management, public procurement, or project management.
