Your role
As Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for leading the pastry kitchen, creating innovative and high-quality dessert concepts, and ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in every preparation. You will play a key role in elevating the culinary experience and bringing a unique identity to our pastry offering.
What you will do
* Lead and oversee all pastry kitchen operations
* Design and develop creative dessert menus aligned with Nômade’s concept
* Ensure the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste
* Manage, train, and inspire the pastry team
* Control costs, ordering, and stock management within the pastry section
* Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team on concepts and experiences
* Monitor consistency and performance during service
* Stay updated on trends and continuously innovate
Who we’re looking for
* Experienced pastry professional with a strong background in luxury hospitality or high-end restaurants
* Passionate about pastry, creativity, and detail‑driven execution
* Strong leader with a hands‑on, inspiring, and organized approach
* Highly creative with a strong sense of aesthetics and presentation
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
* Team player with strong communication skills
Requirements
* Proven experience as Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in 5★ hotels or high‑end restaurants
* Strong technical knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert production
* Creativity and ability to develop innovative and seasonal concepts
* Experience managing teams and kitchen operations
* Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen management
* Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling regulations
* Fluent communication in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
* Additional languages are a plus
* Valid EU / Ibiza work permit
