Behind the user-friendly iOS and Android apps and the web pages that work across the world is the Fever engineering team. We are in charge of creating, developing, improving, and maintaining Fever services so that more people can have an amazing experience.
Responsibilities
* Design easy-to-use, performant, and exciting web experiences serving multiple partners across marketing, brand, and design.
* Understand the technical, creative, and temporal constraints of a project, making pragmatic tradeoffs with stakeholders.
* Participate in the full project lifecycle from ideation to handoff, to launch.
* Collaborate with the larger creative team via regular design critiques and working sessions.
On your first month in Fever
* You will be fully integrated into the team and participate in planning, grooming, retrospectives, and meet Fever departments.
* You will attend Fever Original experiences like Candlelight.
What would you do at Fever?
After 3 months in Fever
* You’ll come up with solutions to new difficult problems and create new landing pages.
* You’ll have responsibilities over some shared libraries across the teams.
* You will participate in hackdays or hackathons and get to know engineers across Fever.
On your 6th month in Fever
* You’ll optimize landing page architecture for performance and scalability while translating UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible frontend code.
* You’ll mentor other new joiners to the team.
* You will participate in team-building activities organized for your team or the engineering team.
About You
* Proficient in hand-coding valid HTML and CSS, with knowledge of JavaScript and templating frameworks like Handlebars.
* Strong knowledge of JS frameworks such as Astro, ReactJS, or Svelte.
* Strong knowledge with design tools like Figma or Sketch.
* Experience developing dynamic landing pages or working with SPA technologies.
* Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
* Demonstrated sense of ownership, urgency, and drive, with a passion for web accessibility standards and inclusive design.
It would be a plus if you…
* Have knowledge of JavaScript and templating frameworks like Handlebars.
* Experience with Angular.
* Sensitivity to user-system interaction and adherence to best practices for visuals, including accessibility, performance, and design principles.
* Experience in a tech startup or strong willingness to work in a fast-paced startup.
