Overview
Strategic European project in Microsoft and .NET environment, focused on evolving FRONTEX’s training management platform.
This is a freelance-only position, adecuado for senior developers seeking long-term collaboration and technical leadership in an international setting.
Responsibilities
- Custom development and technological evolution: Migrate SharePoint 2019 systems to SharePoint Subscription
- Redesign Microsoft-based solutions independent of SharePoint
- Design and develop new features for the training management platform
- Create prototypes and new applications based on the Product Backlog
- Optimize performance, security, and accessibility (including screen reader testing)
- Produce technical and user documentation
- Report development progress, estimate effort, and define development standards
- Collect and interpret software metrics
- Train administrators in the use of the applications
- Maintenance and technical support: Perform corrective, adaptive, and preventive maintenance of .NET systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support
- Update software and fix vulnerabilities
- Maintain technical documentation and reporting
- Collaborate in defining requirements for adaptive maintenance
Requirements
This opportunity is open exclusively to FREELANCE professionals.
Professional experience
- Minimum 5 years with Angular, .NET, and SharePoint
- Participation in at least 2 ICT projects focused on knowledge management, workflows, and business processes
- Experience in developing corporate-level enterprise systems
- Involvement in at least one full development lifecycle
Technical skills
- Design and development of data, business logic, and presentation layers (UI)
- UML knowledge
- Experience in Scrum / Agile environments
- Ability to lead technical teams
- Skilled in documenting technical solutions clearly and structurally
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Education and certifications
- University degree in ICT (mandatory)
- Advanced certification in software development technologies (mandatory)
- English level B2 (Common European Framework), validated by certificate or test
Benefits
- Long-term freelance contract (up to 4 years).
- Modality : Warsaw Far-Site.
- On-site presence required: 20 days / year (paid at €570 / day).
- Remaining service delivered remotely (€310 / day)
