What We’re Looking For :
* A culinary degree or equivalent qualification (preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Spanish.
* Legal right to work in Europe, including visas or permits.
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
* Pre-opening experience is advantageous.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills to inspire the team.
* Experience in Forbes or LQA-rated properties is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, techniques, and food trends.
* Understanding of HACCP, health and safety, and hygiene standards.
* Exceptional time management and multitasking skills.
* Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and execute orders efficiently.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Chef De Cuisine to create innovative menus with local ingredients.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality and presentation.
* Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team, fostering growth.
* Innovate menu offerings, techniques, and presentations.
* Prioritize guest satisfaction and dietary needs.
* Work with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
* Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
* Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
* Support administrative tasks and step in when needed.
* Identify and implement improvements in kitchen operations.
* Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments.
