How to contribute to our vision
Offer stage:
- Review the input data filed in SGRE servers.
- Deep analysis of the geotechnical report.
- Using the SGRE design criteria as follows: for foundations, for roads & hardstands.
- Calculation of the foundation predesign by using the available tools and according to the geotechnical parameters coming from the geotechnical information, if any, and SGRE design criteria.
- Provide the foundation information to the drawing team to make the respective foundation drawings.
- Geotechnical risk considerations sheet. This document explains the technical responsibility that SGRE should assume with regards to the geotechnical risk in the bidding. Additional technical considerations considered in the predesigns are also explained in this document.
Engineering of awarded projects:
- Analysis of the technical exhibits of the client contracts in order to understand the commitments with regards to the engineering.
- Management, coordination and follow up of the engineering works (normally done by external engineering firms). Deadline control according to contract planning is crucial because of LDs.
- Thorough revision of the engineering documentation in order to avoid typos and mistakes, ensuring coherence with every other part of the engineering.
- Responsible for the management of all civil documentation issued for construction.
Construction Phase:
- Provide technical support to BOP Regional structure
- Support Quality Team in the NCR management.
- Maintenance of the department’s procedures & specifications (PLM and Teamcenter).
- Research and development of the internal calculation methods to optimize the designs of foundation, deep soil improvements and roads & hardstands.
- Development of internal calculation tools.
- Toolkits design for anchor bolts, grout levelling and foundation formwork.
- Provide technical support in the civil remedial works.
- Propose improvements and later analysis of their results in order to reduce the cost of the civil construction.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- At least 2 years of experience of structural or civil engineering
- Fluent in English (C1 level )
- Tools: Nice to have: Staad Pro; Must have: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
- You have a BA degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Geotechnical knowledge is required.
