Purpose:
The Data Analytics Specialist in the Source to Pay (S2P) Center of Expertise (CoE) is responsible for collaborating closely with S2P leadership (GPOs, SDMs, Head of CoE) and IT teams (including external providers) to translate the S2P strategy into actionable insights through advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques.
This role aims to drive the implementation of AI/ML solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance within the S2P framework.
The specialist will contribute to the harmonization and optimization of the complete S2P process, focusing primarily on the data-driven insights generated within Global Business Services (GBS).
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Conduct root cause analysis using data analytics to identify opportunities for process, system, or automation improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover data-driven automation opportunities, map end-to-end processes, and evaluate the feasibility of processes for automation.
- Develop training documents and provide training materials related to new or enhanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities.
- Partner with S2P and IT teams to drive process optimization and continuous improvement through data analytics and AI initiatives.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- University degree or equivalent education in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analytics, ideally with exposure to procurement and/or accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, including SQL for database management, Python for data manipulation and analysis, and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts, with interest in further developing skills in this area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions.

- Strong collaboration, influencing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluent in English;
