WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
PAGONXT TRADE is looking for a CLOUD DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR, based in our MADRID office.

This role will be part of our PagoNxt Trade Solutions team, responsible for delivering fast, efficient trade finance, supply chain, and FX payments solutions for international SMEs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Cloud Database Administrator, you will administer and maintain databases hosted in the cloud, providing DBA services including database design, generation, coding, and operational support. You will collaborate closely with developers to design optimal solutions emphasizing cloud-native opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Database design & data modeling
* Stress testing database applications
* Database monitoring
* Performance tuning and optimization
* Backup & recovery
* Database security
EXPERIENCE
* Over 5 years of expertise with database clustering, mirroring, high-availability configurations, and related infrastructure
* Relevant database certifications, including AWS or Azure
* Experience migrating, deploying, supporting, and maintaining cloud databases
* Strong understanding of database security
* Knowledge of cloud technologies and ability to evaluate future needs
* Ability to collaborate with IT teams and communicate effectively
EDUCATION
* Associate degree in computer science or related IT field
