Our client is a prestigious European institution with a Cyber Security Operations Centre whose mission is to strengthen the IT Security for the whole organization.
The Institution is looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to reinforce their Threat Detection Engineering team. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer professional who will be involved in the design, implementation, integration, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the client’s cybersecurity infrastructure and solutions.

Contract type: Freelancer agreement, with an initial contract duration, with the possibility for renewal
Workplace type: Remote within EU territory (besides 20 days of on-site office presence in Luxembourg or Brussels at the client's site, with a notice period of 7 days)
Daily rate offer for this role: 430 euros
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement security architecture, configure, integrate, manage, maintain cybersecurity solutions for on-premises and cloud environments and for DevSecOps environments.
* Integrate security designs, implement, and integrate various security tools and technologies to enhance security (and in the DevOps pipeline).
* Advanced Security Configuration Design and implement advanced security configurations and hardening measures on systems and infrastructure to enhance security posture.
* Security Policy Compliance; ensure compliance with security policies and standards by enforcing security controls.
* Participate in incident response activities and work with other profiles like Cybersecurity Incident Responder.
* Troubleshoot security and network problems for the cybersecurity solutions it manages.
* Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
* Ensure cybersecurity solutions are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
* Participate in the change management process.
* Mitigate network and system vulnerabilities.
* Report and communicate with the relevant departments in the organization.
* Security assessments: conduct complex security assessments, participate in incident response activities, develop documentation of security processes and procedures, and ensure they are kept up to date.
* Contribute to security awareness trainings.

* Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, etc.).
* Advanced understanding of security standards and best practices.
* Excellent understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).
Eligibility and willingness to undergo a Security Clearance at EU-LEVEL SECRET is required for this role.
