Main functions and responsibilities
- Plan delivery of orders and define long‑term supplier plans.
- Execute job functions in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Manage materials replenishment in time, balancing quality and price per purchasing policy.
- Analyze MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and respond to Demand Planning Department requirements.
- Order alcohol and maintain monthly balance, submitting required documentation (N/A in Chartres, it’s Making).
- Substitute other plant functions as needed.
- Request maintenance of master data for planner references to the appropriate department.
- Support the Department Responsible with any additional tasks.
- Carry out Green Belt functions: enable continuous improvement.
- Analyze and implement alternative plans for bottleneck situations or critical materials.
- Review availability of materials and follow up on missing items.
- Monitor product needs in other centers/suppliers and schedule shipment preparation.
- Negotiate orders, monitor deliveries and quality.
- Manage stock levels in plant and warehouses, maintaining appropriate quotes.
- Control stock levels and material balances during discontinuations or presentation changes.
- Claim and follow up with suppliers for non‑compliance with company regulations on quality and conditioning of deliveries.
- Manage and follow up destructions.
- Track KPIs of the area.
Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Industrial, Business Administration or similar.
Languages:
- Spanish: fluent (written and spoken)
- English: fluent (written and spoken)
- French: fluent (written and spoken)
Experience and knowledge:
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position.
- Replenishment training.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Management of MRP.
- Experience negotiating with external suppliers.
- Experience with SAP (plus).
- Experience in purchasing chemical raw materials.
