As a Valuation Officer FR, you will play a key role in the funds valuation processes, overseeing the approval of fair values, participating in valuation methodologies set-ups, analysing valuation models, helping review financial reportings thus ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and acting as a point of contact for valuation-related matters.You will collaborate closely with internal teams, fund administrators, and external service providers to ensure compliance with valuation policies and regulatory requirements.This position is based in Spain and reports directly to the VP Operational Center of Excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will co-create and co-design valuations for the calculation of the fair values of alternative investments with an initial focus on the asset classes private equity, venture capital and fund of funds;You will review, validate and challenge valuations provided by external appraisals on all material components, i.e. hypothesis regarding, revenues, WACC, discount factors, and any other critical factors and model assumptions);You will liaise with portfolio managers and valuation providers in France and abroad, partnering together and aligning on current topics and future developments;You will generally support and partner with the Finance Manager in the day to day duties (i.e. valuation frameworks, processes and policies of the AIFM and AIFs) and work with him/her on new projects (like the implementation of new regulatory changes);You will support the production of the periodical reportings covering the valuations, changes, drivers and threats for clients;You will support the investment committee for valuation related matters and retrieve the data necessary for the set up of the valuation frameworks and methodologies of funds;You will support the monitoring of the Net Asset Values issued by our funds.RequirementsQualifications & ExperienceYou hold a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar;CFA, CAIA or equivalent additional qualificatio
