This is a brand new position within Curaleaf International, a leading medical cannabis company in Europe that is blazing a new trail in the cannabis industry.
We are looking for a person who is early on in their career and who is interested in learning, developing and who would like to grow with in the organisation.
Responsibilities:
● Track and publish a monthly group report showing the cost per lane for shipments across the group;
● Be the point of contact within the Group (Curaleaf International) for all new logistics lanes set up, providing quotes and options on request;
● Negotiate with various logistics providers to optimise transport costs for the Group's various sites;
● Provide feedback and options for cost saving initiatives within the logistics area;
● Plan and track shipment of finished products according to customer requirements;
● Planning and procurement of materials;
● Evaluation and selection of suppliers, purchasing, costs, shipping;
● Organise material receiving processes, warehousing and inventory, and material distribution.
● Degree in numerical subject such as engineering, economics, mathematics, Supply chain or business;
● 2+ years experience in a similar position;
● Fluent in Spanish and English – mandatory;
● High level of Excel, numerical skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, experience with Power BI desirable;
● Willingness to get involved, take responsibility and manage as well as execute;
● Office based in Alicante (Spain)
