As a Captain you hold ultimate authority for safe and efficient operation of all flights.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times.
Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi‑out to final engine shutdown.
Lead flight and cabin crew, demonstrating strong decision‑making and crew resource management.
Operate efficiently and with environmental responsibility per company fuel and sustainability policies.
Deliver consistent on‑time performance to meet Etihad's reliability commitments.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5,500 total flying hours, including 2,500 PIC hours in multi‑crew, glass cockpit aircraft and 1,500 PIC hours on an A320 family aircraft.
At least 12 months of recent A320 flight experience.
Valid type rating on A320 at least 2 months before joining.
Unrestricted current ICAO ATPL and Class 1 medical.
Age under 59 years at joining.
Current TRE/TRI is an advantage.
English fluency Level 4 or higher.
