Head of marketing spanish + english-speaking

Greystar is a leading fully integrated global real estate company offering expertise in property management, investment management, development, and construction services in the sectors of institutional-quality rental housing, logistics, and life sciences. The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the lifecycle of development and project initiatives from conception through stabilization and beyond. This includes developing strategic and tactical marketing plans to enhance brand presence and placemaking, leading to inquiries, leads, occupancy, and revenue. The role involves working on various projects, including multifamily residential, student accommodation, and corporate marketing.

Collaborate with the European Marketing team, the Spanish Marketing Team, and local onsite teams to set and implement annual marketing and commercial strategies for the portfolio and individual properties.

Lead the development and execution of marketing programs supporting business development and financial performance goals, including branding, collateral creation, advertising campaigns (online and offline), outdoor advertising, sales campaigns, development presentations, and resident communications.

Oversee website development projects, acting as project manager with third-party agencies for timely launches, as well as managing social media channels and paid campaigns.

Identify opportunities and develop targeted solutions to support portfolio brand launches to existing and potential partners, including companies, universities, multinationals, intermediaries, and individual students and young professionals.

Coordinate with external design agencies and internal teams to produce marketing materials that align with brand guidelines and target market appeal.

Create and execute content and communication strategies across print, web, and social media, in collaboration with local agencies and European marketing support.

Implement innovative resident retention and acquisition campaigns for student and multifamily portfolios, ensuring ROI is tracked and reported where possible.

Develop and oversee local and in-house sales strategies, budgets, and action plans in coordination with onsite leasing and operations teams.

Formulate marketing and lease-up strategies for new properties, supporting planning, coordination, and execution with onsite teams.

Build and maintain relationships with business partners and associations in Spain, acting as a brand ambassador and gathering requirements from local corporates, universities, and intermediaries.

Monitor market trends and forecasts affecting occupancy and leasing, recommending strategic responses to market downturns or opportunities, and providing feedback on asset performance.

Work closely with operational teams to identify asset-specific opportunities and budget requirements for targeted marketing efforts.

Prepare presentations for client reports, proposals, and pitches, and generate regular project performance reports.

Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance campaign success and undertake biannual assessments of suppliers and partners regarding quality and costs.

Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, branding, advertising, or design.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel at an advanced level).

Familiar with marketing via social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, and SnapChat.

Understanding of reporting tools, including Google Analytics.

Knowledge of design tools like Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Understanding marketing strategies targeting Generations Y, Z, and Millennials.

Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.

Experience in a similar role or job level with a proven record of successful marketing campaigns.

Strong communication skills, including report writing and presentations.

Analytical, budgeting, and organizational skills.

Passionate about marketing and delivering excellent customer service.

Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics.
