The opportunity
As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will work on the design of end-to-end pipelines for enterprise data loading from different sources, deployment of ML/IA solutions for predictive analysis and improvements on quality of data.
You will also collaborate with the product development teams (business analysts, product owners, developers) to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.
To qualify for the role, you must have
1. Degree on Statistics, Maths, Informatics or similar.
2. 1-3 years of experience as Data Engineer
3. Experience in Azure: Databricks, DataFactory, Synapse
4. Database knowledge, SQL, OLTP/OLAP
5. Experience of Big Data ( Spark, Hadoop)
6. Very good communication skills in terms of capturing requirements, describing architecture, data flows, etc.
7. Excellent communication skills in Spanish (C1 or Native) and in English at least at B1 level.
Ideally, you’ll also have
8. Knowledge of cloud solutions
9. Experience on Agile and SCRUM methodology.
