In this role you will :
Handle mandates processing and wholesale activities :
Support a team specialized in the Spanish legal framework. Provide support to all Lines of Business and Functions in Spain, as well as other HSBC entities worldwide, for deeds, signatures, and Power of Attorney verification due to complex mandate structures typically present in Spanish Corporates.Assist the Business, Functions, and other HSBC sites :
The Client Servicing team provides the legal information needed to complete agreements and reviews signatures and authorizations of signers on documents received at branches. The team acts as the single point of contact for internal and external customers and other HSBC entities regarding legal inquiries about documentation.Verify mandates and signatures.Perform SEPBLAC (Spanish AML authority within the Central Bank) reporting activities.Understand, follow, and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures, especially Internal Controls and Compliance policies.Continuously reassess operational risks considering market conditions, legal and regulatory changes, procedures, management restructuring, and technological advancements.Qualifications :
Fluency in Spanish and English.Some law degree or legal knowledge.Experience in related fields is preferable.Attention to detail, organization skills, and experience working with large volumes of documents.Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the qualifications, if you believe this role suits you.What you’ll get in return :
