Would you like to be part of our successful global team?tesa is a multinational company, running a portfolio of more than 7 innovative adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions for various industries, commercial customers, and end consumers.To support our strong growth with automotive OEM/OES in Spain, we are recruiting an Account Manager (AM) preferably located in the area of Madrid, to increase sales and margin/profitability of assigned customers. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up an activity plan in line with segment strategy, identifying new opportunities, managing and implementing projects, and maintaining the sales pipeline. Together with the Sales Manager, you will also be responsible for building and leading the accounts and meeting the annual budget targets to support the deployment of the Key Account plan. In this position, you will interact with both the sales team and the Automotive Sales Manager based in Italy.If you are interested in joining the tesa Automotive Business Unit and experiencing the significant changes in the automotive world, apply and let's meet!Main Functions:
Provide fact-based information and customer access to improve the marketing mix and complement the technology/product pipeline.Build and maintain relationships with customers and local decision-makers of RKA.Build a robust tesa network (with RKAM, Mkg – R&D – customer solution centre (testing and automation solutions) – controlling functions across complex customer buying centres).Manage all tesa resources and competencies to contribute to the success of the selected projects.Consider multiple dimensions to build a powerful offer:
products, services, and process integration.Manage complex listing, pricing, and contract negotiations.What you will need:
3-5 years of relevant experience in sales (preferably in automotive and/or tapes industry).Fluent Spanish and excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Portuguese can be a plus.Excellent communication skills and talented networking abilities.Knowledge of the sector and the market assigned segment.Advanced presentation skills.Strong customer orientation and passion for building long-term partnerships.Ability to work autonomously and self-driven while proactively seeking support when needed.Easily adapting to change and ambiguity.We need your strong teamwork abilities, networking skills, ability to prioritize and organize your work, and high interest in technical applications. You should be precise and concise in your customer information flow. We seek someone with excellent technical and presentation skills who is results-oriented. We look for someone who is flexible and able to respond positively to change. We count on you to be a team player who communicates and works effectively at various levels of an organization.
