As part of the Spanish Operation Centre, you will support project execution from design to delivery across Europe.
How You’ll Make An Impact
1. Lead the Engineering Team, promoting safety, quality, and collaboration.
2. Oversee engineering for HV/MV Substations and Power Electronics, ensuring timely delivery and interface coordination.
3. Collaborate with related departments like Procurement, Logistics, and Quality.
4. Establish support setups with internal customer-facing units across Europe.
5. Build and maintain customer relationships, providing solutions during tendering and project execution.
6. Guide and develop team members’ skills and competencies.
7. Manage resources, budgets, contracts, and systems effectively.
8. Support financial planning and project management, applying entrepreneurial thinking.
9. Drive team performance, customer focus, accountability, and innovation.
Your Background
1. Degree in Engineering, preferably electrical engineering.
2. 5-10 years’ experience in primary or lead engineering, with management experience a plus.
3. Knowledge of substation technologies (AIS, GIS, Hybrid Switchgear) and engineering interfaces.
4. Experience in handling plant/system projects in the power sector within a multinational environment.
5. Leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and development.
6. Strong communication skills, collaborative approach, and multicultural sensitivity.
7. Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
