Strapi is looking for 2x Senior Backend Engineers to help scale and enhance its core CMS platform — one of the most loved and adopted open-source headless CMS tools on the market.
You’ll join either the Content or Developer Experience team, depending on your strengths and interests, and play a leading role in building features, tools, and enhancements used by thousands of developers and content teams around the world.
This is a great fit for engineers who want to work at scale, contribute to open source, and care deeply about code quality and developer experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Designing and delivering new features — from content tooling to AI-integrated workflows
Writing clean, stable, tested code that improves the robustness of the platform
Contributing to and reviewing open-source PRs from the community
Collaborating with product, design, and fellow engineers in cross-functional squads
Coaching others and sharing best practices across the engineering team
Constantly looking for ways to make Strapi faster, better, and easier to use
What they’re looking for:
6–10 years of backend development experience
Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
Previous experience building scalable product features in a high-quality codebase
Passion for developer tooling and/or open-source platforms
Bonus: experience integrating AI into user workflows or dev tools
