PbAbout the Role /b /ppbr/ppbNobu Hotel Madrid is preparing to open its doors, and we are looking for an exceptional Staff Accountant to be an integral part of the Finance team of this flagship luxury lifestyle property. /b /ppbr/ppThe Staff Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, while providing support to the Cluster Director of Finance and hotel leadership team to help maximize overall value. /ppbr/ppThis role primarily supports the Cluster Director of Finance in maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring effective financial controls, and developing best-practice accounting and control procedures. The Staff Accountant also plays a key role in supporting and advising the Finance team at Nobu Hotel Madrid. /ppbr/ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliLead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely monthly financial statements. /liliPrepare monthly financial statements and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all outstanding items are investigated and resolved. /liliOversee all finance functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit, and Payroll. /liliImplement and support property-level financial policies and operational procedures. /liliEnsure compliance with all local privacy, local taxes, data protection, and confidentiality regulations. /liliAssist in preparing and delivering financial presentations for ownership meetings. /liliSupport the Cluster Director of Finance in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts. /liliRespond to ad hoc requests and projects assigned by the Cluster Director of Finance. /liliFoster effective, solution-oriented communication within the finance team and across operational departments. /liliAct as a visible ambassador of Nobu culture, standards, and values /li /ulpbr/p pbRequirements /b /pulliProven leadership experience within a hotel Finance team /liliStrong knowledge and practical application of PGC /liliA hands-on leader with strong coaching and team development skills /liliExperience in pre-opening environments highly desirable /liliStrong communication skills and ability to work with corporate teams and ownership /li /ul pNobu Hotels effortlessly blends modern luxury and minimal Japanese tradition into the concept of a lifestyle hotel.
