During this period, your daily responsibilities will include:
Influencing change and fostering an inclusive environment for our BuildersProblem solving and influencing in diverse populationsWorking in a fast-paced, complex, and continuously innovative environmentApplying HR fundamentals effectivelyPartnering with leaders at multiple levels to develop strategies focused on the Builder experienceBeXT delivers personalized support to AWS Builders to amplify their voice. You will collaborate with AWS leaders and HR teams to implement HR strategies related to talent, performance, compensation, and employee relations. Your role requires a flexible skill set, including HR expertise, consulting skills, and the ability to connect the big picture with details, collaborating across teams, levels, and regions.Typical daily tasks include:
Consulting, coaching, and developing leadership with empathy and sound judgmentManaging talent processes, employee development, performance, compensation, and relations issuesAdvocating for Builders’ needs and promoting engagement and inclusionHandling escalations with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon policiesPromoting technology and self-service adoptionCollaborating with multiple organization levels, from Builders to senior leadersConducting workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder RelationsQualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Labor Relations, Business, Psychology, or related fields5+ years of HR Generalist experienceExperience in a matrixed organizationCoaching and consulting skillsStrong HR and business acumen, problem-solving, critical thinkingExperience with Employee Relations and InvestigationsExcellent communication skills, high judgment, empathy, and discretionAbility to thrive in high-pressure, ambiguous environmentsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
