PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As part of the Global Marketing Organization, you will lead the development and execution of customer insight across global travel retail channels. This role uses different sources of information to build a deep understanding of travelers and markets, translating insights into strategic actions that enhance customer experience and drive growth. You will collaborate closely with Marketing teams (Communication, Advertising & Promotions), as well as Commercial, Digital, and Operations teams, working with regional and local teams worldwide. This role is based in Madrid Spain, and will report directly to the Global Digital Marketing Customer Insight Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leads, designs, executes, and manages a portfolio of qualitative and quantitative research studies to address critical business questions
* Interprets and synthesizes insights across data sources (e.g., transactional data, loyalty programs, camera analytics, market research, etc.) to deliver holistic solutions with clear business implications
* Creates and delivers professional, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences
* Regularly presents strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
* Fosters strong collaboration with key stakeholders to maximize synergies, supporting in definition of relevant business questions and streamlined brief, methodologies and action standards for projects
* Maintains quality of the main projects, Customer Perception Tracking and ECHO (NPS program), ensuring that the design, analysis and outcomes are robust.
* Acts as a trusted business partner, collaborating closely with global and Local teams to embed customer‑centricity into all initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* 6+ years’ experience in Consumer insights in Market research agencies or companies, ideally FMCG, Retail or Foodservice industry
* Experience in leading multi‑countries projects is preferable
* Proven ability in leading research path and deliver actionable insights, contributing to the overall marketing and commercial strategy
* Fluent in English - written and spoken - is required
* Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
* Experience in creating presentations and executive summaries, integrating insights and data from various sources for a holistic understanding of insights
* Experience in qualitative and quantitative research and insight validation
* Analytically minded with ability to synthesize multiple data/insights sources and perspectives into a clear and tangible action plan
* Experience in advising on business decisions in identifying growth opportunities
* Proven experience on international projects and/or international organizations
* Ability to foster strong relationships as the role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills with proven ability to coordinate cross functional work and manage stakeholder relationships
* Experience using AI-powered tools and platforms
