Data Analytics Information Security and Compliance Expert
Join our team! You will be responsible for executing Information Security Compliance & Risk topics to ensure stable service operations. Play a key role in implementing and executing compliance controls, collaborating closely with Service and Platform Management, Delivery Teams, Enterprise Architecture, and IT Services departments across Data & BI technologies.
Your role
As a Data Analytics Information Security and Compliance Expert, your main responsibilities will include:
* Providing consultancy and advisory to projects and services (control owners) on risk mitigation and control implementation to enhance IT risk management.
* Assisting projects in aligning business and technical capabilities, designing security controls, and testing their effectiveness to meet both business and security needs.
* Applying and supporting IT cybersecurity, risk, and compliance technologies to increase adoption rates.
* Engaging proactively with Platform and Service management, Project Management Office, Data Management, and Enterprise Architecture to define, implement, and execute Security compliance for DBI Services.
* Driving the implementation of IT security, risk, and compliance technologies to reduce overall risk and conducting control assurance for IT service providers, ensuring control implementation and identifying systemic issues.
* Following security policies and guidelines to ensure information security and addressing potential discrepancies.
* Supporting audit executions.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Security Expert, your qualifications should include:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree, technical diploma, or equivalent.
* 10+ years of experience in IT.
* Consultancy experience in security and compliance domains.
* Experience delivering in complex organizations.
* Strong data management, data architecture, and IT knowledge in Platform & Infrastructure Architecture, Data models, and BI solutions.
* Solid knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001 & 27002, ITGC, ICFR / SOX, GDPR, and CISM standards.
* Understanding of the insurance industry, preferably Zurich’s business.
* Effective communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Desirable:
* Experience in financial services, especially insurance.
* Knowledge of additional languages.
