Position Overview
We are seeking a Finance Analyst in BP&A (Business, Planning, and Analysis) for the Europe and Africa E-Systems division. The role involves supporting closing, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes for the Electrical Europe & Africa Division. The analyst will identify and communicate business issues effectively, focusing on Sales & Operating Income, Volumes, Cash Management, and Divisional reporting packages. Collaboration with various locations is essential to improve standardization, completeness, and accuracy of reported information.
Main Responsibilities:
* Consolidate and analyze Sales & OI walks and variances in financial results, including LTA, Pricing, CTO, Performance, Economics, and Launch costs, to support financial targets.
* Perform volume mix analysis to understand changes in variable margins due to program mixes and monitor program conversion trends within quarters.
* Manage program controlling with PPR (Platform Profitability Report), ensuring OI margins align with expectations and quotes in APRs by product line and program. Build platform walks to analyze variances YoY and Forecast over Forecast.
* Assist BP&A team in understanding and communicating FCF deviations, analyzing accrued liabilities, and ensuring balance sheet accuracy.
* Complete forecast and close packages for corporate management review.
* Participate in risk and opportunity meetings, supporting weekly P&L and FCF assessments.
* Report restructuring actions accurately, ensuring compliance and consistency with legal requirements.
* Provide management with accurate information for forecasts, presentations, and other requests.
Qualifications for Success:
* Studies in Business or related fields
* Fluent in English
* Four to five years of experience in accounting, consulting, or auditing
* Proactive attitude
* Strong teamwork skills
