Your Role
We are looking for a visionary and results‑driven Sustainability Director to lead our sustainability agenda across the business, reporting to the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer. As a key member of the Strategy team, you will define and execute a robust sustainability roadmap, mobilize cross‑functional teams, and drive transformational change connected to the Company Vision and Ambition.
With an annual turnover exceeding €700 million, we are on an ambitious journey to embed sustainability at the heart of everything we do—from sourcing and production to packaging and product innovation. Strategic Vision & Roadmap
* Define and implement the SBU Sustainability Roadmap, aligned with group strategy and global sustainability goals.
* Lead the definition and execution of “System Change” initiatives, transforming how we operate and deliver value across our ecosystem.
* Communicate sustainability vision and initiatives across the business.
* Ensure alignment of sustainability goals with business objectives and holistic value creation.
* Collaborate with the CSSO, Group Sustainability Team, and cross‑functional partners to drive positive impact, manage change, improve operating models, and track performance.
Execution & Governance
* Lead the execution of foundational elements of sustainability across all business units.
* Oversee sustainability performance tracking, reporting, and compliance with frameworks such as SBTi, CSRD, EFRAG, TCFD, CDP, and GRI.
* Develop and manage budgets for sustainability programs and projects.
* Assess and manage sustainability risks that could impact organizational operations or reputation.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Internal: Inspire, mobilize, and empower teams to adopt sustainable practices; develop training programs and share best practices.
* External: Represent the company at sustainability forums, conferences, and industry partnerships; engage with regulators, NGOs, and customers to foster collaboration and transparency.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Identify and implement innovative solutions in sustainable sourcing, circular economy, and packaging, connected with our ambition to leverage our brand strategy.
* Partner with all functions, especially Marketing and Operations, to drive eco‑friendly product and packaging innovation.
* Stay ahead of emerging sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations to maintain leadership and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainability in leadership roles, ideally within the food or consumer goods industry.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability strategies and driving large‑scale transformation.
* In‑depth knowledge of reporting frameworks and sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Exceptional project management, communication, and influencing skills.
* Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities.
