What will you do?
- Define and lead the satellite power and data distribution architecture, including interface boards, umbilicals, power distribution units and conversion electronics.
- Translate mission requirements into power and data distribution concepts, grounding strategies and EMC performance criteria.
- Lead trade-off analyses between architectures such as point-to-point, backplane or direct connection approaches.
- Generate and maintain electrical, grounding, EMC, harness requirements, EICDs, and subsystem interface specifications.
- Develop power budgets, energy balance analysis and end-of-life sizing for different mission scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with mission reliability, redundancy and derating standards.
- Coordinate harness procurement and development with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Support AIT activities including functional, thermal vacuum and load test campaigns.
- Act as technical authority during project reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR).
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, V&V; and systems teams to define system-level specifications.
